About the Course
The course is designed for people already demonstrating the skills and responsibilities of senior care workers or supervisors in a social or health care setting.

Course Structure:
This course includes between 15 - 23 units designed to match your work practice, some of which include:

  • Contributing to the care planning process
  • Contributing to the development of team members
  • Supervising health and safety
  • Working with clients to develop suitable therapeutic and developmental activities
  • Assisting with clinical activities

Assessment Method:
Course assessment is conducted through trainer/assessor training and direct observation of your skills at work plus student portfolio production.

Progression:
This course could help you improve your skills at work, or you could register for a Diploma Level 4 (NVQ 4) in Health and Social Care Management. Following course completion learners could also opt to become accredited Diploma (NVQ) assessors or apply to a university or a Higher Education institution in order to complete a Degree or Diploma in Nursing or Social work.
